2. What data we process, for what purpose, and under what legal basis
Processing varies depending on your relationship with Gorilla at any given time:
2.1 Website visitors — waitlist / early access ("Join exclusive access")
Name: to address you personally, if you provide it.
Email address: to notify you first when the app is available and to share Gorilla's news and progress with you, as indicated in the form itself.
Purpose: to manage the waitlist and send you communications about the launch and development of the product.
Legal basis: your express consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given when submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link included in each communication or by writing to hello@gori.co.
2.2 Contact form
Name: to identify you and personalize the response to your inquiry.
Email address: so we can respond to you.
Message: to understand your inquiry and provide an appropriate response.
Purpose: to manage and respond to your inquiry, and, where applicable, to initiate a business relationship if you request it.
Legal basis: your consent given when submitting the form and, where applicable, the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
3. Retention period
Waitlist and contact form data will be kept until the inquiry is resolved or until the user withdraws consent, and in any case until the service launch, at which point new consent adapted to the contractual relationship will be requested.
4. Recipients and data processors
Gorilla shares data only with providers acting as data processors under contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, within the following categories:
Hosting provider and the platform on which the Site is built.
Email provider, to manage the waitlist and contact inquiries.
Customer relationship management (CRM) tool, to organize contacts and business leads.
Gorilla does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for purposes other than those described here.
5. International transfers
Some of the above providers may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the data transfer is carried out under the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or another valid mechanism recognized by European regulations).
6. Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights regarding your personal data, under the GDPR:
Right of access: to know whether we process your data and to access it.
Right of rectification: to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Gorilla applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including:
Encryption of communications via HTTPS/SSL throughout the Site.
Restricted access controls limited to the team managing the waitlist and contact inquiries.
Use of providers (hosting, email) that comply with recognized security standards.
8. Minors
Gorilla's services are directed at persons over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
